Rexcel Panelartâ HI High Impact Series Panelartâ HI is one of the premier products in the Rexcel decorative laminates line. The HI series is a special high impact laminate consisting of decorative paper with an overlay of saturated melamine resin. Stratified on a kraft paper support structure impregnated with Phenolic resin, the paper is then pressed under extreme high pressure and temperature. This produces a thick stock decorative laminate with unprecedented strength, wear and impact resistance.
Panelartâ HI Decorative High Pressure Laminates are designed for environments where potentially destructive elements and solutions are common. Recommended uses: Typical applications include wallboard panels, bulkhead sheathing on naval and commercial ships, signs, displays, elevator interiors, and bathroom compartments. Panelartâ H.I. can also be used in the manufacturing of institutional furniture for schools, hospitals, prisons, public buildings as well as bridge and walkways for airport terminals. Panelartâ HI Decorative High Pressure Laminates conform to the relevant standards of the National electric Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and American Laminators Association (ALA).
