HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE TYPESRexcel manufactures high pressure decorative and non-decorative laminates. Among the former we find the Rexcel Art and Rexcel Liner used in the furniture industry as a lining for kitchen cabinets, countertops, dressing tables, desks and all kinds of furniture designed to be subjected to high abrasion and wear through continuous rubbing because of the high chemical and surface resistance of this material. Another decorative laminate manufactured by Rexcel is PanelArtâ which is widely used in the manufacturing of linings for kitchens and dressing tables. This laminate is characterized by its post formability, which means that when exposed to a certain temperature it softens and allows for folding. Resigrab is another kind of high pressure laminate which has two different color decorative sheets on both sides of it. It is used for engraving signs in general and also for the manufacturing of reglets and technical drawing sets. The high impact laminate is a kind of material whose main feature is its great thickness. Because of its very high impact strength it is used inside subway trains and buses. In the building industry it is used for manufacturing partition screens. We also have high pressure non-decorative laminates such as Rexcel Black. This laminate does not have any lining or decorative paper. It is not sanded so it is only used in counter top surfaces and on the inside of some furniture or as lining on the inside of drawers in order to protect the pieces of furniture in question through greater mechanical and chemical resistance.
