RECOMMENDED USES

Rexcel laminates are suitable for use on fine quality residential and contract furniture and caseworks; and for architectural application on columns, wainscoting, valances, cornices, interior doors and divider systems.

General Purpose: This grade is most frequently used for work surfaces on counters, islands, vanities, desks and tables. Typical vertical uses include surfacing for wall panels, teller cages and the front panels of work stations, such as those in hospitals, airports and restaurants.

Vertical Surface: This grade is the usual choice to surface cabinet walls, doors and drawer panels. It often appears on the vertical surfaces of surfaces of desks, restaurant booths and maitre d' stations, and as architectural cladding.

Post forming: This grade adds the decorative capability of the soft edge to any typical laminate use. Formed edges for counters and desk tops and for cabinet doors and drawer panels are familiar applications of post forming laminates.

Basic Limitations

Rexcel laminates are for interior use only, and are not recommended for direct application to plaster or concrete walls or gypsum wallboard. These laminates are not structural materials, and must be bonded to suitable substrates.

Do not subject these laminates to extremes in humidity, nor to temperature of over 275 degrees Fahrenheit for substantial periods of time, nor to intense, continuous, direct sunlight.
